About "The Generic TD" :
Place towers to kill creeps as they move along the path. The mouse is used for most actions. P pauses, E toggles effects on and off. If the game lags ( it usualy starts to around wave 100 to 200) turn the effects off, and set the quality to low (right click ? quality ? low)
