An ordinary workday at the Life and Death Corporation was coming to an end. The human soul collection quota had been exceeded, and Death was satisfied as she reviewed the day's births and funerals. And of course, like any office worker, she was wrapping up her day by checking her emails.

That’s when disaster struck!

In a brief and firm email from the Board of Directors, it was stated that they had hired cheaper employees to replace her. As a result, the company was saying goodbye—she had been fired! She would be replaced by interns who knew nothing about the reincarnation system!

After several billion years of dedicated work? Unbelievable!

Apparently, someone at the top was asking for trouble! From now on, she would do everything in her power to make sure no soul ever leaves Earth again!
